Is my data backed up?

Yes! We fully understand that your business data IS your business and is critical to your business operating effectively. Therefore at Spear we have implemented a strict, efficient and reliable backup system in the unlikely event something happens to your data.

Your data is backed up every night on a 30 day retention period using. This means we can restore your data to how it was on the day of the backup every day for the previous 30 days. This means you can restore your data to last nights, the night before, ten days before or twenty days before, up to a maximum of thirty days.

The backup servers are located at another location offsite to ensure whatever caused the problems to your iNet data will not affect the data at the backup location. This means your backup data will be intact and ready to restore to your business iNet if any problem occurs with your live iNet data.

The backup data is 448 bit encrypted on the backup servers and is decrypted only on restore.

We also appreciate that because we are storing a copy of your data, although encrypted, we have still ensured high security levels surrounding your data. The backup servers are not accessible over the internet and the server premises are security controlled with only authorised personnel allowed access.
