| Physical security on the server premises. We host your iNet on servers stored in a dedicated hosting environment with 24x7x365 protection by security guards and cctv camera monitoring. Entry to the premises is controlled by user authentication to prevent unauthorised access. |
| User level access is protected by using a username and password controlled by the users. No one can access your iNet without having a valid username and password. |
| A Secure Login (SSL Certificates) can provided to ensure the login details are encrypted over the internet and a malicious user cannot intercept the details. This optional extra layer of security is recommended. |
| User permissions are included to ensure users and usergroups can access only the data they are meant to access. It is not possible to view any information they do not have the permission to access. |
| Spear iNet itself is designed to prevent access to internal links from the outside if a user is not logged in. For example, you cannot obtain a document stored within iNet by simple clicking on a hyperlink. |
| We can implement additional security in the form of restriction access based on your location. For example, if you wanted you can allow only the PCs located at your office premises to connect to your iNet (plus as many other locations you specify) thus preventing any locations external to your business accessing the login page*. |
